Holiday Seizure Prep   

The holidays are a hectic time of year. Schedules and routines can go out the window with an onslaught of shopping, decorating, travel, social gatherings and other potentially stress-inducing activities. You may be spending time with people who don’t know you have epilepsy and what your Seizure Action Plan is.Taking some time to plan ahead can help make the Holiday Season happier and healthier.

American Epilepsy Society Meeting: Orlando, FL       

Epilepsy Alliance America representatives attended the Annual Meeting of the American Epilepsy Society in Orlando, Florida, earlier this month. Board members, member organizations, and members of the National Professional Advisory Committee had the opportunity to attend the meeting. It was educational, informative and impactful and a great opportunity to be together IN PERSON.

Seizure Action Plan Awareness Week February 12-19 2024

Save the Dates     

Save the dates for two important campaigns coming up early in 2024. #1in26Day will be recognized on Friday, January 26 (1/26) and celebrate the 1 in 26 people who are diagnosed with epilepsy in the United States. Seizure Action Plan Awareness Week will be recognized from February 12 - 19, 2024. The Seizure Action Plan Coalition and Epilepsy Alliance America will lead efforts to promote Seizure Action Plans with over 55 awareness partners.
