Exciting News!

Epilepsy Alliance America has been providing OnDemand Seizure Recognition and Response Training for School Personnel since December 2021. More than 75,000 school personnel across the country have completed the training since then. As of this month, you can take the SAME TRAINING one of FOUR ways: via the Epilepsy Alliance America website, IN SPANISH on the Epilepsy Alliance America website, via Public School Works or via Train.org.  

Lorna Myers PNES Scholarship Fund - Applications Due by April 30

Applications for the Lorna Myers PNES Scholarship Fund are due by April 30, 2024. Applicants must have a diagnosis of Functional Seizures or PNES. Application materials can be found on the website.

Tools you can use

Seizure First Aid Posters, available in English and Spanish for the workplace and for schools, are available to download and print.

Additional versions are available at SeizureActionPlans.org. 

We have Video Demonstrations in English and Spanish to show the administration of the rescue medications your doctor may prescribe as part of your Seizure Action Plan.

Epilepsy Alliance America has available – 24/7 – a one-hour Seizure Recognition and First Aid Training for School Personnel. More than 65,000 people have completed this training in the last two years.
