Ready for the New School Year?  

As children get ready to return to school in the fall, it’s a good time to make sure that students are Seizure Prepared. Transitioning to new teachers, activities, classrooms or even schools can be a daunting task. Our Seizure Preparedness Back to School Checklist has all the tools and resources needed to set you and your child up for the new school year.  

Special Education Advocacy

Is your child getting all of the support they need at school? We can help you understand the rights of children with epilepsy in school and assist with special education services like Seizure Action Plans, 504 Plans and Individualized Education Plans. Several of our member organizations provide customized support for families who need it.

Mental health includes emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, act, make choices, and relate to others. Self-care can play a role in maintaining your mental health and help support your treatment and recovery if you have a mental illness.
