Getting Ready for Epilepsy Awareness Day 2024

Epilepsy Alliance America is a proud National Partner of the 12th Annual Epilepsy Awareness & Education Expo and Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland Resort. The event is hosted by our member organization, Sofie's Journey. This year Epilepsy Alliance America, and our member organizations, will be hosting more than 20 families at the event. Learn more about the Jamison family who we sponsored in 2023.

Check out our new webpage: Practical Self-Care Strategies for Caregivers. Although it was released in May, which is Mental Health Awareness Month, these tips are important all year long.   

Seizure First Aid Posters, available in English and Spanish for the workplace and for schools, are available to download and print.

Additional versions are available at SeizureActionPlans.org. 

We have Video Demonstrations in English and Spanish to show the administration of the rescue medications your doctor may prescribe as part of your Seizure Action Plan.
