Summer Camp Safety

It's that time of year! If your child with epilepsy is heading off to day camp, sleepaway camp, or just spending time at the local pool this summer, check out our Camp Prep Checklist to make sure you and your family are Seizure Prepared this summer.

Join us in Disneyland this November

Epilepsy Alliance America is proud to be a national partner of the largest gathering of epilepsy physicians and patients on earth: Epilepsy Awareness & Education Expo and Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland. Registration is now open for the November 2024 event. This year, Epilepsy Alliance America, will be sponsoring a family to join us as our guests. Applications are due by June 20.  

Transition of Care Webinar

When it comes to transitioning a loved one with epilepsy from pediatric care to adult care or making decisions in light of our loved ones’ need for lifelong care, the necessary steps can be confusing and overwhelming. This webinar will feature a panel of experts who will share on topics that are key to the transition of care process. There will be a Q&A session at the end of the presentations.

Seizure First Aid Posters, available in English and Spanish for the workplace and for schools, are available to download and print.

Additional versions are available at SeizureActionPlans.org. 

We have Video Demonstrations in English and Spanish to show the administration of the rescue medications your doctor may prescribe as part of your Seizure Action Plan.
