About the Fund
Dr. Lorna Myers annually donates the royalties of her book, PSYCHOGENIC NON-EPILEPTIC SEIZURES: A GUIDE to Epilepsy Alliance America.
Using these funds, Epilepsy Alliance America established a scholarship program for students with a diagnosis of psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES) who are pursuing higher level education at a university or college or a trade, technical or professional school.
Awards are based on the quality of applications through a competitive scoring system that balances need with achievement. Epilepsy Alliance America reserves the right to determine the amount of and number of scholarships given annually. At this time this is a one-time award.
The application deadline for the 2022-2023 School Year was April 30, 2022.
We awarded 4 scholarships for the 2022-2023 School Year.
Here are the scholarship materials for the 2022-2023 School Year. We anticipate announcing our 2022-2023 scholarship program details in January 2023. If you are interested in learning about the Scholarship Program and would like to be notified when the 2023-2024 Scholarships become available, please email Lisa Gallipoli at firstname.lastname@example.org.
