Mr. Cole has over twenty (20) years of experience working with varied types of civil engineering projects, including wastewater, drainage, water, structural, and transportation infrastructure projects. He is the founder of H. Davis Cole & Associates, created in 2006 after serving several years with international, national and local engineering firms. Mr. Cole has served clients throughout the states of Louisiana and Mississippi.
Mr. Cole possesses specialized expertise in the mechanical and process design of municipal wastewater treatment plants, specifically for the City of Kenner, LA; Jefferson Parish, LA; and the City of Slidell, LA. He has provided mechanical and process design services for wastewater treatment plants of all sizes and types throughout Southeast Louisiana.
Mr. Cole is an active member of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and served two (2) years as a Member (ACEC representative) of the East Baton Rouge City-Parish Engineer Selection Board. He was also appointed by Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco to serve as Chairman of the State of Louisiana Facilities Planning and Control Engineer Selection Board (2007 to 2009). Mr. Cole currently serves as the Past President and Member of the Board of Directors for the Epilepsy Alliance Louisiana. Mr. Cole is also a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Baton Rouge, LA. Mr. Cole is a native of Catahoula Parish, Louisiana and graduated high school from Huntington School in Ferriday, LA.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) degree from Louisiana State University in 1998 and is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Louisiana.
